AERIALGRIP® thimbles are used in conjunction with dead ends and are intended to provide a smooth internal surface to help reduce stress concentration within the loop of the dead-end and increase the resistance of the dead-end steel.
These thimbles are made from hot dipped galvanized steel, they are fully reusable and ideal for ADSS and figure 8 cables.

1/4″ Thimble
AERIALGRIP® thimbles are used in conjunction with dead ends and are intended to provide a smooth internal surface to help reduce stress concentration within the loop of the dead-end and increase the resistance of the dead-end steel.
These thimbles are made from hot dipped galvanized steel, they are fully reusable and ideal for ADSS and figure 8 cables. Maintenance is easy since you only need to remove one clevis pin to withdraw the steel pin that holds the assembly together.
The thimble clevis can be sold separately as accessories or pre-assembled. Extension links are normally recommended by cable manufacturers to reduce the cable’s radius of curvature and increase cable performance.
