Dead-End for ADSS Cable
The AERIALGRIP® Lite Tension Dead-End is designed to termínate short span ADSS cable. The Dead-End is a single layer component that offers an economical solution and is ideal far low tension & low voltage environments.
This unique low-cost product is used in typical spans with 1%-2% installation sag. The product effectively transfers the low axial load on the cable at the end of the dead-end legs to a unifarm radial compression near the loop. A thimble clevis must be used to prevent damage to the loop.

DEAD ENDS / DEAD-END FOR ADSS CABLE / AERIALGRIP® preforms for ADSS cable are manufactured with durable aluminized steel helical wires designed to evenly distribute the tensile force generated in the link. Ideal for aerial installations of ADSS cables. AERIALGRIP® tension hardware ensures the integrity of the cables due to: – Its distribution of cable stresses over the preform.
Its flexibility to accommodate oscillation and vibration movements of the cable due to wind action. Its design that provides optimal grip for different cable diameters. – It contains mineral salts to increase abrasion between the hardware and the cable. Its tip design prevents the tips from penetrating the cable and facilitates easy and quick installation.
