Description
MDU Drop Cable / FRTPU
Waveoptics® MDU Drop Cable / FRTPU is ideal for FTTx applications, due to its flexibility, robustness and light weight. The optical fibers are positioned in the center of the cable under a 900um tight buffer tube.
Aramid yarn as a strength member provides excellent tensile strength. In addition, the cable has a FRTPU Black Outer Jacket, ideal for indoor / outdoor applications.
FRTPU Black Outer Jacket prevents the spread of flames, in case of fire. Also, it can be considered low smoke emission, and is manufactured free of halogen materials and with the highest mechanical performance.
